The year 2020 was crazy for everyone, including the Noyes Family Foundation. However, the need to help families was likely more in 2020 than in years past. Thus, the Noyes Family Foundation had to find new ways to serve the families for their Operation Stone Soup.
During Thanksgiving Week 2020, the Noyes Family Foundation was able to provide the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal COVI-19 style for 92 families in memory of their mother, Mary Noyes, who would have celebrated her 92st birthday on November 28, 2020. The Noyes Family Foundation set up the food distribution in a car line with all family members wearing masks and gloves as they passed out the Thanksgiving care packages.
“Despite all the challenges that 2020 has brought everyone,” says Ben Noyes, “my family and I wouldn’t have missed the opportunity to help in Operation Stone Soup and spend time with family.” Ben and his family traveled down from Virginia in order to help with Operation Stone Soup 2020.
